How does this work?
This works like the imgur/reddit Secret Santa's in the past. You sign up and provide your contact information, and interests/gift preferences. We then match you with a random person. We provide you with that person's address and interests/gift preferences. You send them a gift. At the same time, your information is given to another random person. We provide them with your address and interests/gift preferences. They send you a gift. You will be matched with somebody from your own country.
What are the deadlines?
You can sign up until December 5, 2024. On December 6, 2024 you will be provided with your Secret Santa match. This gives people enough time to go shopping and get their packages in the mail.
How much does this cost?
Nothing.
How much can I spend?
That is up to you. You could give a small gift or a large gift. You could send something that you made.
Where is my information stored and how long will it be kept?
Your information is stored in the United States. We will hold your information for one year, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.
Can anybody participate?
You must have an active reddit or imgur account to participate, that is at least 6 months old. We will verify each imgur/reddit account when you sign up, by sending you a reddit/imgur PM.
The residents of the following countries can participate: Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and the USA.
